Lotion Bottle for national grocery brand
I have been responsible for overseeing teams from beginning to end on many website and app projects, but I have never had an opportunity quite like this one before.
The concept was simple:
Design a lotion container suitable for placement on anyone's bathroom sink, ensuring it expresses the quirky and enjoyable essence of the surroundings.
The initial stages of the design incorporated innovative concepts and theoretical ideas regarding user experience that had never been seen before.

Use a suction cup to allow the User to stick it to the wall?
At times, outlandish and imaginative concepts can be the very ones that drive sales into profitability.

This is the existing product sample, which would facilitate a straightforward order for the product.

The existing market for products featuring sunflowers includes those that are either printed or painted directly onto the bottles, or they are available in cooking oil containers.
This inspired me to create a 3D sunflower design to serve as the lotion bottle. The main challenge was to introduce a concept that deviated from the previously approved shapes and sizes of bottles.

The conclusive design that was sanctioned entailed multiple meetings with product management to elucidate the design and its anticipated success.
The initial product was developed and successfully passed pre-production testing! Some minor modifications involved switching from a lotion bottle to a hand wash bottle and enhancing the print of the design to achieve a more pronounced 3D effect. Ultimately, the product was purchased by Trader Joe's and made its debut on store shelves in April 2022.
