Bobrick Washroom Equipment

At Bobrick, I was assigned the responsibility of modernizing their outdated, outsourced staff suggestion box. Employees were able to log in using OAUTH through MS Azure with their email addresses. They could then submit items such as safety concerns, request updated supplies or equipment, propose changes in workflow, or provide any other suggestions aimed at enhancing productivity and safety. The objective was to transition the product in-house within a low-code framework. This section of my portfolio will illustrate the UX research process, followed by the UX design leading to the prototype, and ultimately the development of the application.

This is the document detailing the specifications that were established after conducting research and before the development phase began: SMI SpecDoc

If you wish to access an early prototype of this application, you can find the link here: https://smi-nine.vercel.app Also, the entirety of the code is available in my github here: https://github.com/jpbrla/Smi

This is the initial appearance of the software. I was given the task of enhancing the design, controls, and user experience of this form. Moreover, the form would be integrated into an in-house backend environment using Azure cloud technology. This will provide analytics for administrative data and reports for meetings.

The original form that was hosted by another company at a premium rate:

After completing the research, I started creating wireframes and mockups for the new UX design, accompanied by the notes below:
